Cushioning Technology:
Zoom Air units in the forefoot and heel give lightweight, low-profile cushioning. The crash pad in the Structure Triax 14 provides great shock absorption at impact.
The Fitsole sockliner moulds to the shape of your foot to give custom fit and support, plus additional softness.
Pronation Control Technology:
The Structure Triax 14 will suit moderate overpronators and is Nike+ enabled.
The large Crash Pad absorbs the impact from the outside of the heel and helps to slow the natural pronation of the foot. From there as your weight rolls in and forward the multi density midsole and the Nike Arch Support again help to slow down the speed the arch of your foot collapses on each foot strike. If your arch collapses too far this is called overpronation and can be the cause of many running injuries.
Upper Materials:
Highly breathable lightweight mesh upper with synthetic overlays and firewire strap which secure the foot comfortably.
Asymmetrical overlays give a secure, supportive fit.
Reflectivity detailing on the heel and tip-toe give enhanced visibility in low-light conditions.
Outsole Technology:
Strategically placed blown rubber in an updated pattern for improved cushioning and a more naturally neutral, efficient stride. The mix of rubbers used, together with the waffle pattern, give great traction and durability.
